ANASYUS.COM, How to Lock WhatsApp with Fingerprint – Maybe some of you don’t know yet, the WhatsApp update version 2.19.360 has finger print security feature.


So every time you want to access WhatsApp, you are required to scan your fingerprint before the chat application is finally open.


When in the past to secure applications that are privacy, we use additional applications such as App Lock. But after this latest WhatsApp update we no longer need to use third-party applications, because now WhatsApp has provided it.


How to Lock WhatsApp with Fingerprint



The finger print system works on WhatsApp as well as opening the phone from a dead screen position that requires a fingerprint scan.


When opening WhatsApp you are asked to place a fingerprint that was previously registered in the HP settings. Each finger print unlock process depends on the sensitivity level of the cellphone you are using.


Then how is it done? I assume the settings on your smartphone use Indonesian, and if you use English settings, just adjust it.


How to lock WhatsApp with a fingerprint:


1. Open WhatsApp then tap the dot in the top right corner then select Settings

2. Then tap Account

3. Select the Privacy menu

4. Scroll down, then tap Fingerprint lock

5. Then activate the unlock with a fingerprint, there are 3 options that you can choose namely:

– immediately

– After 1 minute

– After 30 minutes

6. There are also settings to display WhatsApp messages on notifications.

If you activate it, a name and message content will also appear on the notification bar

If it is not activated, WhatsApp notifications will appear and how many messages will appear.


To activate this feature, make sure your phone is integrated with the fingerprint service. Even in the locked position you can still answer calls via WhatsApp both voice calls and video calls.

So what if the fingerprint feature on the cellphone error or sensor is damaged? Calm down don’t worry. You can still open WhatsApp. The trick is to deactivate your phone’s fingerprint feature in the phone’s settings menu.
